Gli X Wild nascono nel 1993 da un'idea di tre ex membri dei Running Wild (Axel Morgan, Jens Becker, Stefan Schwarzmann) dopo "Pile of Skulls". La loro musica è una continuazione del classico stile Running Wild, alimentato da una voce più forte, del britannico Frank Knight. Si incontrarono più volte per scrivere canzoni a Rendsburg, nel nord della Germania, prima di entrare in studio per registrare il loro primo album chiamato "So What!" Le registrazioni si svolsero nel famoso Studio M di Machtsum vicino a Hildesheim in Germania nel Novembre, Dicembre 1993. In questo studio sono stati registrati anche due album di successo dei Running Wild come "Death Or Glory" e "Blazon Stone"; è stato persino progettato e mixato dallo stesso uomo, Jan Nemec. Dopo il successo del loro album di debutto, tornano in studio nel 1995 per registrare il loro secondo disco chiamato "Monster Effect", sempre allo Studio M che nel frattempo si era trasferito a Celle. Le registrazioni sono state fatte con le stesse persone coinvolte come nel primo disco. Dopo l'uscita di "Monster Effect" la band fece un tour europeo come special guest per Grave Digger per promuovere l'album. "SavageLand", il terzo album fu pubblicato nel 1996 e presenta Frank Ullrich (Living Death, Grave Digger) alla batteria, poi la band ha smesso di esistere. X Wild were born in 1993 by an idea of three ex-members of Running Wild (Axel Morgan, Jens Becker, Stefan Schwarzmann) after the release of "Pile of Skulls". Their music was a continuation of the classic Running Wild style, powered with a stronger voice, of the British Frank Knight. They were meeting several times for song writing in Rendsburg in the North of Germany, before they entered the studio to record their first album called "So What!" The recordings took place in the famous Studio M in Machtsum near Hildesheim in Germany on November, December 1993. In this studio were also recorded two successful Running Wild albums as "Death Or Glory" and "Blazon Stone"; it was even engineered and mixed by the same man, Jan Nemec. After the success of their debut they entered the studio again in 1995 to record their second album called "Monster Effect". It was again in Studio M which in the meantime had moved to Celle. The recordings were made with the same people involved like on the first record. After the release of "Monster Effect" the band went on an european tour as special guest Grave Digger to promote the album. "SavageLand", third album was released in 1996 and features Frank Ullrich (Living Death, Grave Digger) on drums, then the band stopped to exist.
