Destiny’s End based out of Los Angeles, California, were born from the ashes of New Eden, who gained admiration for their debut Cd “Through the Make Believe” (1997) receiving perfect scores in foreign magazines like Rock Hard and Heavy Oder Was and opened live for such top metal acts as Fates Warning. Soon after the release of the album, Dan DeLucie (guitar), Brian Craig (drums) and Nardo Andi (bass), now formerly of New Eden, joined forces with pioneering vocalist James Rivera known for his work with metal band Helstar and then chose the new moniker Destiny's End recruiting the talented young axeman Perry Grayson. Destiny's End played a technical, melodic power/speed metal with heavy riffs, catchy hooks and thought provoking lyrics; to mention the intricate guitar work of Dan DeLucie and Perry Grayson that combined with the thunderous and precise rhythm section provides a solid foundation for the powerful vocals of Rivera. While maintaining originality, the influences of such metal icons as Iron Maiden, Mercyful Fate, Helloween, Savatage and Judas Priest are evident in the band's unique songwriting.
Destiny's End signed with Metal Blade and recorded their debut album entitled "Breathe Deep the Dark” (1998) with long respected producer Bill Metoyer, featuring intense songs displaying melodies, blistering speed and extreme heaviness.
Following the release of their second album, “Transition” (Metal Blade, 2001), Destiny's End inexplicably disappeared. Dan DeLucie has since been involved in a new project called Crescent Shield, Perry Grayson founded Falcon and joined Isen Torr too, drummer Brian Craig was later seen in Seven Witches and he was for a time joined there by vocalist Rivera.
